Music in good company
Ship in the Clouds is a traditional Irish quartet based between Boston and New York, blending fiddle, button accordion, bodhrán, and guitar. The band formed in 2018 and released their debut album in 2020.
The name comes from a crooked American fiddle tune out of the mountains of West Virginia.

Laura Feddersenfiddle
One half of an acclaimed Boston twin-fiddle duo with Nathan, Laura's playing is steeped in the Irish tradition and colored by her American roots. The Irish Echo called their latest record "truly stunning."

Natasha Sheehybutton accordion
Natasha grew up in Abbeyfeale, West Limerick, learning the box from Willie Larkin and Danny O'Mahony. She brings that distinctive West Limerick style, with a soft spot for slides and polkas, to the band.

Anna Collitonbodhrán
One of the leading exponents of the bodhrán, Anna has appeared with Eileen Ivers, Cherish the Ladies, and the Broadway company of Come From Away. She also made the album's artwork.

Nathan Gourleyguitar
Nathan is a Boston-based fiddler and guitarist known for his work with Copley Street, The Truckley Howl, and Brightly or Darkly. He recorded the album at his Copley Street Studios.
Ship in the Clouds
Fourteen sets of reels, jigs, slides, polkas, waltzes, and set dances, with tunes from both sides of the Atlantic. Released in December 2020.
